Private duty assistance enables seniors or individuals who may benefit from additional support to maintain independence by remaining in their homes while receiving the care they need, rather than moving into a facility. These necessary services are tailored to the unique requirements of each client, providing a customized approach to caregiving.

By receiving assistance with daily tasks, individuals can enjoy a higher quality of life, maintaining their dignity and autonomy. While the patient remains home, families experience the reassurance of knowing their loved ones are receiving attentive and personalized care in a familiar environment.

  • Medication reminders (up to 2 reminders per day, 5 minutes each)

  • Up to 2 baths or showers per week
  • Assistance in dressing, getting in/out of bed/chair, toileting, and/or eating 1 time daily

DIAMOND PACKAGE

  • Escort to/from rooms within home or community living residence
  • One beauty/barber shop activity*
  • Medication reminders (up to 2 reminders per day, 5 minutes each)
  • Up to 3 baths or showers per week
  • Assistance in dressing, getting in/out of bed/chair, toileting, and/or eating up to 3 times daily
  • Up to 5 room checks daily
  • Medication set-up and ordering assistance once a month**

VIP PACKAGE

  • Unlimited escorts to/from rooms within home or community living residence
  • One beauty/barber shop activity*
  • Medication reminders (up to 2 reminders per day, 5 minutes each)
  • Up to 5 baths or showers per week
  • Assistance in dressing, getting in/out of bed/chair, toileting, and/or eating up to 6 times daily
  • Up to 5 room checks daily
  • Medication set-up and ordering assistance twice a month**

A LA CART

  • Morning dressing & grooming (30 minutes)
  • Drop-in visit (up to 15 minutes during operating hours)
  • Escort to & from rooms within home or community living residence
  • Incontinence accident clean-up
  • Laundry (per load pricing, client to provide supplies)
  • Medication ordering assistance**
  • Medication reminders (up to 2 reminders per day, 5 minutes each)
  • Rise & shine (up to 15 minutes)
  • Showers/bath visit
  • Tuck-in service (up to 15 minutes)

* Where applicable for those in senior living communities

** The scope of this service involves only the following: Dover Helpers will (1) review Client’s medications present at Client’s residence against written prescriptions to identify if any are missing or low in stock, (2) set reminders for Client to refill medications which are low in stock, and (3) assist Client in calling a pharmacy to fill or refill their medications as prescribed by Client’s healthcare provider.
